Ginger & Chicken Rice Porridge with Poached Egg

Ginger & chicken rice porridge is very warming, very filling and healthy. I used to hate it as a kid, but only because my Mom ruined it for me. Now, however, I am determined to rediscover this quintessential Asian staple and give it the recognition it deserves.

Hainanese Chicken Rice

Here in Europe I have to make many of these delectable dishes on my own, from scratch. Lucky for me, this isn’t a complex dish to recreate.
