A delightful cake. I decided to try simply because it is so vibrant and psychedelic ~ and I was bored today. Crazy bright on the eyes, this cake oozes fun and is perfect for a tea party or a kids’ birthday. Make it as a whole or as cupcakes, whatever takes your fancy, this cake will be a crowd pleaser.

A Country Christmas Fair : Kasteel de Haar, Haarzuilens.

Today R and I headed to Utrecht to check out a Christmas market held on the private property of a wealthy family. Said property boasts ample manicured lawns, a formal garden, ponds, avenues, a chapel and its very own castle with a moat around it. Coconut & Cherry Cookies

This was a double experiment to see if I could finish up all the dessicated coconut which I bought so enthusiastically last month, and also to see if these babies would be a good choice for Christmas. Well I think they are a bit too light for Christmas but still yummy with a cup of tea.
