Pan-fried Chicken Supremes on Lentils + Pesto

I have just learned how to obtain chicken supremes from a whole chicken, and how to french the bone. So this is me putting it into practice, feeling rather pleased with myself. I am also featuring this dish in time for Valentine’s day, for all y’all who intend on surprising your lover with a fancy home-cooked dinner for two.

Moroccan Beef & Pearl Couscous Salad

This will be the last salad dish in a series of salad dishes I have presented this month. Hoping to go out with a bang by featuring a flavourful and robust salad of pan-seared beef fillet, on a bed of pearl couscous and vegetables. I saved the best for last … and this one was AMAZEBALLS.

Hiyayakko : Japanese Cold Tofu Salad

Promised a cold tofu dish as part of the salad month series, and so here it is. It’s hardly a recipe really because it does not require any cooking … merely an assembly of the different components. Ten minutes is all you need to prepare this dish from start to finish … a highly nutritious meal all on its own.

Salmon Tartare with Fresh Cucumbers and Avocado

Today is a rather “posh” salad of raw salmon, cucumbers and avocado … simply dressed with olive oil and fresh herbs. The perfect summertime appetizer to pair with a nice chilled glass of Chablis or sparkling Prosecco. Just make sure you have a plentiful supply of crisp Melba toasts on the side.

Jumbo Cheesy Baked Prawns

A spectacularly visual dish, these cheesey jumbo baked prawns will definitely be the eye-catcher at your table. While it looks fancy, the preparation is surprisingly easy and you will be done in minutes. If you don’t want to broil, then these would cook very nicely on a barbeque over gleaming hot coals as well
