Wow, this recipe blew my socks off ~ it was THAT good. Got it off an article in the New York Times. Heaps of spices, very aromatic and it produces the tenderest of chicken. If you love Indian-style cooking then this is for you.

Udon in Mushroom & Mince Meat Sauce
It’s breakfast time here in western Europe, and guess what I’m having? I adore tossed noodles in thick black sauce but you can’t always find them where I live now. It’s times like these I miss the convenience of my favourite hawker stall and just ordering a bowl, accompanied with a glass of ‘teh peng’ (iced milk tea).

Spaghetti Puttanesca
This is a wonderfully delicious pasta dish, full of briny big flavours. Black kalamata olives, anchovies and caper berries all mixed together with fresh tomatoes and garlic. Simplicity and satisfaction all in one bowl. Not bad for a first attempt either. I enjoyed every mouthful. Mmmm … yummies in my tummies.

Crispy Pork Belly with Cider Cream Sauce
This dish has been a long time coming, but I had to be absolutely sure I had the technique down pat. Today I am using a Marco Pierre White recipe coz I feel that if his recipe comes out perfect on video, it has to work out for me in my kitchen too, no?

Chicken in Mushroom Cream Sauce
A little something I once ate at a Parisienne bistro ~ chicken simmered in a mushroom cream sauce, served on rice. So quick and simple yet good enough for casual family dinners and fancy home entertainment.

This was a happy accident that turned out to be totally awesome. Delicious golden puff pastry filled with creamy egg custard, leeks, bacon and cubes of ham. Grated cheese is then placed on top and everything is baked to gooey perfection.
